St. John - second draw PDF Print E-mail

On basic color we need to inflict drawing again. Through the basic color (underpainting layer) you can perceive a first drawing. Following the lines of the first drawing, you should apply drawing again with darker shade of basic color.

Some parts of the drawing on the side of face that is facing away from the viewer, do not paint again (this is the part that will be less lit). You omit half of the nose and the bottom line of eye bags. Drawing color of clothing should be exactly half way between black and basic color. It may be obtained by mixing the black and basic color in the relation 1:1.

Drawing color of the body is dark brown.

Drawing should be done carefully, because unlike the first drawing (before painting), this drawing stays visible forever.

Use the same way of moving brush ''thin-thick-thin".
